For five centuries the Summer Opera Events have been held at Villa Margherita, organized by the July Musical Corporation of Trapani, a corporation which has made all its initiatives known at national and international level. The shows are celebrated outdoors at the theatre of the villa open to all public, in honour of the tenor Giuseppe Di Stefano. The July Musical Corporation of Trapani has also set up the Winter Opera Events and the Prose events for some years now at the Auditorium of the University.
It has also organized the international competition “The Young and the Opera” in honour of the same world celebrated tenor and has given music some outstanding young singers of worldwide fame. The School Theatre Project is also its proposal.
