Ganzirri is a little town of fewer than 200 inhabitants to which many young people flock in the summer, filling the bars and restaurants. The town surrounds a salt-water lake (Pictures 1, 2 and 3) with the best mussels around.
Where to Eat
A big draw for locals and Messina inhabitants is La Napoletana-Salvatore (tel. 090 39 10 32; Via Lago Grande 29) for both delicious fare and lovely views.
How to Get to/from
BY BUS: from Messina there are two buses operating Ganzirri (number 79 and 81).
